Street parking is available around our campus and we have a large parking lot east of the church. There is also a small parking lot across the street on Sunnyside Avenue, just west of the school. Lastly, handicapped parking is behind the rectory, alongside the northeast entry to the church, near our elevator.
St. Edward parishioners are among the most welcoming people in the entire city of Chicago! Our beautiful church, uplifting music, joyful parishioners, and engaging ministries are ready to welcome you for however long you wish to call St. Edward home.
Is St. Edward accessible?
YES! Our elevator, which we added to our church in February 2022, makes us accessible to all people. You can find our elevator addition in the back of the church campus. Drive north through our parking lot and head between the Rectory and the Convent to find our handicapped parking. You will find the doors to the elevator entrance in our Marian courtyard along the east wall of the church.
When is Mass celebrated?
Sunday Mass is celebrated Saturday evenings at 4:30pm and Sunday mornings at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00am. We live-stream our 11am Sunday Mass and all our daily Masses on our YouTube Channel, here.
Can our children come?
ABSOLUTELY! We have a ton of young families in our neighborhood. There are almost always multiple babies in the congregation at our Sunday Masses. We love children and don't mind when kids act like kids. In fact, when you bring your children, sit in the front pews so that they have a better view of the sacred mysteries being celebrated at the altar.
