Feast of St. Nicholas Party: Thursday, December 5, 6-8:30pm, Unity Hall. Our annual celebration of this beloved saint takes place on the eve of his feast day. Totally free to attend, the night features hot dogs & hot cocoa, carols sung by our Youth Choir, and a visit from St. Nicholas himself! Details here.

First Friday Adoration & Healing Mass: Friday, December 6, 9am-7pm, Church. Join us for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, which will be exposed upon the altar following the 8:30am Daily Mass. A Solemn Benediction will be given around 6:45pm and the monthly Healing Mass will begin at 7pm. Sign up for a Holy Hour here. All are welcome to adore Our Lord even if you can't commit to a full hour.

ChristkindlMarkt at the St. Edward Convent: Saturday, December 7, 5:30-9pm, Convent.  A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to wander through our historic convent. There will be vendors selling crafts and goods, along with firepits in the Convent Grotto and Food Trucks parked outside. Get your tickets here.

Lakeshore Brass presents a Christmas Spectacular: Saturday, December 7, 7-9pm, Church. A delightful evening of classic Christmas music as performed by Lakeshore Brass. Tickets available here.

Breakfast with Santa and Cookie Walk: Sunday, December 8, after all morning Masses, Buckley Hall (School Gym). Help support our award-winning School by enjoying pancakes, a photo opportunity with Santa Claus, and our annual Cookie Walk. All poinsettias will be available for pickup during the event. Breakfast with Santa is ticketed and usually sells out. Reserve your seat here.

Lessons & Carols: Sunday, December 8, 2pm, Church. A beautiful reflection on the Nativity in Salvation History, both in word and song. Our parish choir sings, and our lectors read during this annual St. Edward tradition. Admission is free, but donations to our Music Program are greatly appreciated.

St. Edward School Musical, Frozen: Friday, December 13, 7pm, & Saturday, December 14, 2pm, Buckley Hall (School Gym & Auditorium). Enjoy the fruits of our school's outstanding musical theatre program. There is no ticket price, and all seats are available on a first-come basis. 

Gaudete Sunday Mariachi Mass & Brunch in Honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe: Sunday, December 15, 11am, Church & Unity Hall. Join us for our annual tradition of celebrating Gaudete Sunday with a Holy Mass whose music is led by a Mariachi Band. Then head downstairs at noon to share a dish at (and join) our potluck Latino-inspired Brunch. We choose this Sunday because it is both the most joyous Sunday in Advent (note the rose-colored vestments) and is also always the closest to the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe (December 12).

Youth Group Christmas Party: Sunday, December 15, 7-8:30pm, Unity Hall. One of the best Youth Group events of the year, all teens in Grades 8-12 are welcome to join for gifts, games, and general Christmas craziness. Encourage all teens  to attend! No RSVP needed.

Simbang Gabi at St. Edward: Saturday, December 21, Holy Mass, 4:30pm, Church, & Celebration, 5:30-9:30pm, Unity Hall. Our vibrant Filipino community invites the entire parish to join in this wonderful Advent Tradition. The Mass offered at 4:30pm satisfies one's Sunday obligation and features traditional Filipino music and elements. One may attend just the Mass, just the Celebration, or both. No cost.

Youth Choir Christmas Carols, Sunday, December 22, 12:30-5pm, your front door! The Youth Choir will celebrate the close of the calendar year with a pizza party in Unity Hall after the 11am Mass, and will then head door-to-door to sing Christmas Carols. You can have them sing for you for a small donation! Stops are extremely limited. This fundraiser pays for the Youth Choir's expenses. Request them here.

Rorate Coeli Mass. Monday, December 23, 7pm, Church. Prepare your soul for the Nativity of Our Lord at one of the quietest, most beautiful Masses of the year. This Mass in honor of the Blessed Virgin is offered in total darkness, with the exception of dozens of candles lit around the sanctuary. As an antidote to the busy-ness and noisiness of the weeks preceding Christmas, the Rorate Coeli Mass truly embraces the thematic spirit of Advent.

NET Teen Night: Sunday, December 1, 6-9pm, Unity Hall. Open to all teens, Grades 8-12, this event will start off our young people's Advent with an electric focus on Christ. Led by 9 college-aged missionaries from around the country, it is free to attend thanks to the generosity of our parishioners.
