Summer Schedule:
Our youth group will not be meeting every Sunday during the Summer months. Instead, we will host various event throughout the summer. Please join as many of these as you wish.

  • September 17- Mass & Kick Off for new year of Youth Ministry at St. Ed’s!​
  • The National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) is a biannual gathering of 25,000+ high schoolers from around the country to celebrate their faith and grow in holiness. Join Fr. Dom as we travel together to Indianapolis, IN. to take part in this life changing experience.
  • Dates: November 16-19, 2017. We will travel by bus to Indianapolis, IN. with the Archdiocese of Chicago leaving around 11am on Thursday, November 16 and returning around 11am on Sunday, November 19.
  • Venue: Lucas Oil Stadium and Indiana Convention Center (they are across the street from each other)
  • Our Hotel: JW Marriott Downtown Indianapolis (which is connected to the Indiana Convention Center)
  • Cost: At St. Edward, we are asking each teen to plan on paying $250.00. The actual cost is $540.00 for each teen sleeping in a quad room ($595 for triples). We will fund raise and there are scholarships available through the Archdiocese to help offset the costs. There is no reason for money to be a deterrent for a teen to attend.
  • Cost includes: conference fee, hotel accommodations, daily breakfast, bus travel, one dinner, gifts, hotel hall monitoring, emergency assistance at hotel, and group leader training.
  • Registration: Must be completed by May 1, 2017. Please contact Fr. Dom for registration information by calling (773) 545-6496 or e-mail FatherDominicClemente@gmail.com. A $200 deposit will need to be made by May 1.
  • Want to be a chaperone? Parents are most welcome to chaperone. Cost is $705 for a double room (with another chaperone) or $1,035 for a single room. Fundraising will help to offset these costs as well; however, money will go to help the teens first.

30 Hour Famine

PictureOur Youth Ministry members who participated in this years 30 Hour Famine raised a total of $165 for Catholic Relief Services!
